With its 780 km of beaches, Calabria is the fourth Italian region in terms of coastal surface. Bord de Mer explores the diversity of this landscape from an unusual perspective, through a series of photographs taken at a ninety-degree angle to the Earth’s surface.
The name of the project, Bord de Mer, is a tribute to the great photographer Gabriele Basilico who, in the 1980s, was commissioned by the French government to create a body of work on the coasts of Normandy.
